Ingredients

  • 1 package turkey cocktail weiners (12 oz.)
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • mustard or ketchup for dipping (Optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a flat surface. You should have 8 triangles of dough.
  • Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles.
  • Take a small turkey dog and wrap one strip of dough around it, pinching the ends of the dough together to seal it.
  • Repeat step 4 with the remaining turkey dogs and strips of dough.
  • Brush the melted butter over the wrapped turkey dogs, then sprinkle them with a little salt.
  • Place the wrapped turkey dogs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
  • Remove the turkey wraps from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving with mustard or ketchup for dipping.

Notes

Pro Tip: To add an extra flavor kick to your Tiny Turkey Wraps, try sprinkling some grated cheese on top of the melted butter before baking. Cheddar, mozzarella, or even pepper jack would all work beautifully! This simple addition takes these wraps to the next level and adds a gooey, cheesy goodness that everyone will love.
Variation: If you're feeling adventurous, switch up the filling in your Tiny Turkey Wraps! Instead of turkey cocktail weiners, try using mini sausage links, cocktail franks, or even slices of cooked chicken or ham. You can also experiment with different types of dough – puff pastry, biscuit dough, or even pizza dough would all work wonderfully. Get creative and make these wraps your own with your favorite ingredients and flavors!
