Ingredients

  • 12 oz Broccoli Florets
  • 3 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper until lightly coated.
  • Place the broccoli florets spread evenly on the baking sheet. Roast for 15 – 20 minutes or until browned around the edges.
  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl or platter. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Coat the Broccoli Evenly: When tossing the broccoli with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, make sure to coat each floret evenly. This helps to ensure that every piece is seasoned well and cooks to perfection.
  • Spread Evenly on Baking Sheet: Once the broccoli is coated, spread it out evenly on the baking sheet. This prevents overcrowding, allowing the broccoli to roast evenly and develop a nice golden color.
