Cilantro Lime Chicken Wings: Marinated in a zesty blend of lime juice, olive oil, and spices, then baked until crispy and glazed with a tangy cilantro lime sauce. A flavorful appetizer that's perfect for any occasion.
In a large bowl, combine ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil, juice of 2 limes, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon ground cumin, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon dried oregano, ⅓ teaspoon black pepper, and ⅓ teaspoon salt.
Add 3 pounds of chicken wings to the marinade and toss until evenly coated.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or up to 24 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
Bake:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with a wire rack.
Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the rack in a single layer.
Bake for 25 minutes, then flip the wings and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Glaze:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter.
Stir in 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, and the juice of 1 lime.
Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro.
Serve:
Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl.
Pour the prepared glaze over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
Garnish with additional chopped cilantro, if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy the burst of flavors!

PRO TIPS:
Marinate for Flavor: Don't rush the marinating process. Allow the chicken wings to soak up all the flavors by marinating them for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight, in the zesty lime and spice mixture.
Flip for Even Cooking: Halfway through the baking time, flip the wings to ensure that they cook evenly on both sides. This helps achieve that perfect golden brown exterior.
