Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed and separated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Fresh thyme and scallions for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat your wings very dry with a paper towel. This is the secret to the best crunch.
  • Put the wings in a bowl. Add the oil, jerk seasoning, lime juice, brown sugar, and salt.
  • Toss everything until the wings are well coated. Let them sit for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Put the wings in the basket in one even layer. Do not pile them up.
  • Cook for 18 to 20 minutes. Flip them halfway through so they get brown on both sides.
  • Serve them hot with a little extra fresh thyme or chopped scallions on top.

Notes

Note: Jerk seasoning is that incredible Jamaican blend of allspice, thyme, garlic, scotch bonnet peppers, brown sugar, and more. It is truly smoky, spicy, and addictively good!
  • Dry is Better: Pat wings completely dry before seasoning for maximum crispiness.
  • Don't Overcrowd: Give wings space in the basket so they crisp instead of steaming.
  • Marinate for Flavor: Let spices soak in for 20 minutes for the best taste.
  • Check Doneness: Ensure wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
