Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen meatballs
  • 2 ½ cups barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • cup grape jelly
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine barbecue sauce, honey, grape jelly, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until smooth.
  • Place frozen meatballs into a crockpot and pour the sauce over the top. Stir until meatballs are evenly coated with the sauce.
  • Cook on high for 2-3 hours, or on low for 4-6 hours, until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165˚F.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the seasonings to suit your taste. Add more or less garlic, red pepper flakes, or other spices to adjust the flavor profile.
  • While you can use frozen meatballs directly in the crockpot, allowing them to thaw slightly beforehand can help ensure they cook more evenly.
