Ingredients

  • 180 g corned tuna
  • 1 pack pancake mix
  • 2 tbsp jalapeño, chopped
  • ¼ cup corn kernel
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Cheese sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Mix the base: Grab a large bowl. Add your tuna, pancake mix, chopped jalapeños, and corn. Stir it all together until you have a nice batter.
  • Shape: Take small scoops of the mix. Roll them into bite-sized balls with your hands.
  • Fry until perfect: Get your oil nice and hot in a pan. Fry the balls until they look golden brown. This usually takes a few minutes.
  • Cool and serve: Move them to a plate or a cooling rack. Let them sit for a minute before serving. Dip them in your favorite cheese sauce and enjoy!

Notes

  • Drain tuna: Squeeze out extra liquid before mixing.
  • Batch fry: Do not crowd the pan; fry in small groups.
  • Keep it warm: Serve immediately with warm cheese sauce.
  • Check temp: Ensure oil is hot enough to prevent the balls from getting soggy.
