Ingredients

  • 4 Russet potatoes
  • 2 olive oil
  • 1 garlic powder
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp truffle oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Turn your oven to 425°F.
  • Wash your potatoes well. Cut them into thin strips. Try to keep them the same size so they cook evenly.
  • Put the fries in a big bowl. Add the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss them until they are coated well.
  • Spread them out on a baking sheet. Do not pile them up. They need space to get crispy
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Flip them halfway through. Wait for them to get nice and golden.
  • Grate your Parmesan while you wait.
  • Take the fries out. Sprinkle the cheese right away while they are hot. Drizzle the truffle oil over the top.
  • Serve them while they are steaming. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Soak for Crispiness: Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes and pat dry before seasoning.
  • Consistency: Cut fries evenly for uniform cooking.
  • Avoid Crowding: Spread fries in a single layer to ensure they get crispy.
  • Flavor Matters: Use real truffle oil and freshly grated Parmesan for the best taste.
  • Garnish: Add fresh parsley after baking for a bright, professional finish.
