Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 can of pineapple chunks, drained
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ salt
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, rice vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
  • Thread the chicken, bell peppers, onion, and pineapple chunks onto the skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  • Brush the kabobs with the sauce and let them marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Place the kabobs on the grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly charred
