Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ¾ cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven and cook the frozen fries on a sheet pan according to package directions.
  • Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and set aside. Turn the oven heat to 400°F.
  • Transfer the fries to a skillet (optional for a restaurant-style presentation) or leave them on the sheet pan.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the fries.
  • Place the fries back in the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  • Once melted, remove the fries from the oven and top them with crumbled bacon, green onions, and parsley.
  • Serve immediately with a side of ranch dressing (or drizzle it over the fries for added flavor!).

Notes

Healthier Alternatives

For a lighter take on cheese fries, try these swaps:
  • Sweet Potato Fries – Naturally sweet and packed with vitamins.
  • Baked Fries Instead of Fried – Reduce the oil and still get a crispy texture.
  • Cauliflower or Zucchini Fries – A low-carb, veggie-packed option.
  • Greek Yogurt Ranch – A lighter, tangy dipping sauce alternative.
  • Less Cheese or Vegan Cheese – Cut back on the cheese or try dairy-free alternatives like cashew cheese.
