Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed (15.35 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • Green food coloring
  • Dark chocolate, melted (for drizzle)
  • Crushed mint candies (optional)

Instructions

  • Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  • In a bowl, mix crumbs, cream cheese, and peppermint extract until smooth.
  • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze for 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
  • Melt white chocolate and tint with a drop of green food coloring.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate. Let excess drip off
  • Place back on the tray and drizzle with melted dark chocolate.
  • Top with crushed mint if desired.
  • Chill until set. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Softened Cheese: Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps.
  • Fine Crumbs: Crush cookies completely for a smooth texture.
  • Chilling: Do not skip the freezer step so they hold their shape while dipping.
