Warm the water but don’t let it boil.
Dissolve the salt in the water by stirring well or shaking in a jar until no granules remain.
Add lemon juice to improve taste (optional).
Drink quickly, ideally within 5 minutes.
Lie down on your side and gently massage your belly.
Within 30–60 minutes, expect a bowel movement. You may need to use the bathroom multiple times.
