Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the tater tots.
Bake the tater tots for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheese and crumbled turkey bacon over the top.
Return the baking sheet to the oven and continue to bake the tater tots for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the loaded tater tots from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sour cream and chopped green onions, if desired.
