Ingredients

  • 1 lb strawberries (washed & dried well)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melts
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Mini chocolate chips (for ghost faces)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Hold each strawberry by the green top and dip into the melted white chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry so the chocolate sticks well!
  • Place on the prepared baking sheet. Immediately press mini chocolate chips into the chocolate to make eyes and a mouth.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Wash and dry your strawberries completely before starting so the melted chocolate adheres properly.
  • Melt your white chocolate chips in short thirty-second intervals in the microwave to prevent burning.
  • Add a teaspoon of coconut oil to the chocolate for an extra smooth dipping texture if desired.
  • Press the mini chocolate chips on immediately while the coating is still warm.
  • Chill your finished berries in the refrigerator for twenty to thirty minutes until set.
